Photocells

Photocells are a safety device for use on all automatic gates.

Supplied as a pair, the transmitter emits an infared beam and the receiver receives the infared beam.

Anything which breaks the beam will stop and/or reverse the gates.

On most installations it is advisable to install 2 pairs of photocells to obtain maximum safety.

Types of photocell

Surface fit for 240V A/C systems

Pair if photocells for use with any 240 volt A/C gate automation system. 12-24 volt
Normally closed and normally open contacts

   
   

Surface fit for 24V A/C systems (model 66-L ECP-001)

Pair if photocells for use with any 24 volt A/C gate automation system. 24 volt

Flush fitting Photocell for use with any gate automation system (model KLFRX)

Reflective photocell. (Model KLMUT)

A reflective photocell and mirror. Avoids the need to lay additional cables across the driveway
Normally closed contact
